Detecting gene-disease associations is the first step to understand the molecular basis of disease symptoms. The diseaseHub are trying to provide an integrative tool for mapping gene-disease associations. The diseaseHub accumulated thousands of diseases linked to the genes which are responsible for causing the disease. The disease-associated genes are mainly from:
  • OMIM (Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man);
  • GAD (The Genetic Association Database);
  • HGMD (The human gene muataion database);
  • PharmGKB (Pharmcogenomics knowlege base);
  • CGP (Cancer genome project);
  • GWAS (Genome wide association studies).

    This is a useful database for anyone working on disease analysis. One can simply search for the disease of interest and view all of the genes which are responsible for causing the disease.
